Artwork by Robert Therrien. Contributions by Louis Grachos. Text by Gregory Salzman, Loretta Yarlow.
Equally concrete and fanciful, Robert Therrien’s photographs and drawings do not so much represent the world as offer a way of looking at it, being in it, and dreaming about it. Dealing magically in objects and the space that surrounds them, his artworks suspend stacks of dishes, slept-on pillows, table legs, and gently geomteric patches of color and line in a charmed world that somehow is our own.
